Our pups are born and raised near the banks of the Missouri River In South Dakota. We have open fields, wooded areas and access to many water areas. Our dogs are exposed to birds, which gives us a chance to pick only the best for our breeding program. It is a fact that many “game” dogs are not really hunted, but our hunting dogs work birds.

We are one of the few Labradoodle breeders breeding the dogs specifically for their hunting abilities. We do not recommend the Golden doodle for hunting as the coat is much harder to take care of. We have trained and owned hunting dogs, and you simply wont find another breeder of quality Labradoodles with this background anywhere! We strive to produce dogs that have coats that are not a headache to groom. You can take them in the field and not spend the rest of the night brushing out burrs. Our dogs are "wash and wear" Please do your research into coat types if you are looking for a hunting companion. Most of our Labrador foundation females are retired dogs used by a top hunting lodge in the country.

Our dogs are known for their calm temperament, desire to please, and natural game finding ability. If you hunt pheasants, grouse, quail, or other upland birds, and also hunt waterfowl, Give one of our Labradoodles a try. Labradoodles excel in all aspects of upland hunting as well as waterfowl retrieving. When Labradoodles are not out in the field, they are ready and willing companions. just as happy sitting by your side near the fireplace to make an outstanding well rounded personality.

We breed hunting dogs in standard sizes only. We breed mini Doodles but a smaller dog makes them not practical for goose and some larger ducks. They are bred for family companions as well as agaility and therapy dogs. Our standard size is that of a finer bones Labrador Retriever.
